The use of endoscopy represents the state-of-the-art technique for breast augmentation in Asian women. Although the learning curve is steep, surgeons can become proficient with practice. The dissection of the implant pocket can be easily shortened to 20 minutes for one side. The entire procedure, including incision, dissection of the pocket, hemostasis, implant placement/adjustment, and wound closure, usually takes less than 2 hours.
